Last night was my first time out this winter. I was out clearing parking lots with the grader & got home around 10:30 this morning. Tonight I’ll be working for the City, clearing city streets on the Grader. There will be 3 or 4 of us (working in tandem) - among all the other 80 Graders in the city working. It’ll be a 16 hour shift. Then home for a few hours and then back out again for another 16 hours. 45 hours in 3 shifts! It’s these shifts that it is easy to forget what day it is when your’e out there. Fun though.

My Nephew Liam’s first Thanksgiving today.
The homemade wine turned out ok. Our first time making it. Next time I will make a red. I don’t really like white wine. I would like to make beer but it is so much more time consuming, you need more supplies and you need to get bottles and cap them all. I’ll continue to buy my Bud!
This is Liam, my sisters first baby and my first nephew. He is a month and a half now.
My thoughts are going out to my old friend, Karen Stears, and the sudden death of her 3 year old son, Adam. Very sad. Obituary can be read here.
Matt Good concert last night was Awesome. As you can see, my Blackberry doesn’t take good quality pics in the dark but here are a few from last night. He played most of all his new Album and lots of his other popular ones. The crowd really got into it about 10 songs in when he played “Load me Up”. his very last song of the night during the encore was “Everything is Automatic”. It was awesome. In between songs, he talked a lot and made a lot of jokes.
On the Way out, I bought his new CD and it is Autographed on the front.
Heading out to see Matt Good in a few hours…..I’ll be hanging at the beer gardens while the opening band (Mother Mother) plays.
