Kriss' Blog Spot
Started off my morning with an email from Expedia and the subject said “URGENT: PLEASE CALL….”. Anyway, I called and got this half wit trainee on the other end and I said to her I received an email saying there were changes to my flights and I needed to call. After she finally found out the problem, she said “Oh my God” and “Oh No”. Anyway, she had no customer service skills at all but at least she had someone sitting beside her walking her through how to do this stuff. No apology or anything too. Anyway, the call took just over an hour and for the last 30 minutes of it, I was sitting on hold but not offically, I could still hear her working on it. It was funny because at the end of the call, she said “may I have your name please” I said “you know it because I’ve been on the phone with you for over an hour!” She said nastily “I know but I need it for my notes”. Crazy. She must have had another screen up and unable to bring up my info again or something. Whatever!

I got Jackson a jumping elephant today. Something for him to burn off some energy rather than jumping all over the couch etc!

Today I was laid off. I worked at the yard today doing some miscellaneous clean up. Most of all of the equipment is already back and parked for the winter as you can see.

Well……The Yankees won it all this year. This photo was taken in August 2008 at Yankee Stadium. In the Photo - My cousin Catonia, Aunt Fuzz and Uncle Phil. This was his final visit to Yankee Stadium.
A bear, a lion and a pig meet. Bear says: “if I roar in the forest, the entire forest is shivering with fear.” Lion says: “if I roar in the jungle, the entire jungle is afraid of me.” Pig says: “big deal…. I only have to cough, and the entire planet shits itself.”
Today was my last day working at the Edmonton Airport. I basically just picked up concrete barriers with the loader, placed them and the Bobcat ”nudged” them into perfect place. The lay-off’s have already been going on, but I will work tomorrow and possibly Saturday working at the HQ (doing a dirty job!). I’ll have a helper with me but I doubt I will finish in Friday. I did this same job last year after the lay-off’s. This job will suck but it is more hours on my last pay period - and again I will be working past the main layoff’s.
